It's HORRIBLE. to think that someone out there is suffering all because of a little something called "choice".

FIRST OF ALL, how DARE that girl attack Nin like that all because she doesn't like a certain book? Does that sound right to you? I've heard of stupid one-sided-school fights like this before, but this.....this si all I can take.

Nin, if you should ever read this. I'm sorry for everyting that you've had to go through. I don't know you, or even what state you live in, but I'm sorry for everything you had to go through. Your story touched me, weird and wrong as it sounds. As for Princess.....she'll get exactly what she deserves. You reap what you sow.

SECOND OF ALL, there are girls like Princess EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD. which means that Nin isn't the only one suffering. These girls were nasty back in the fifties - stealing your guy and making fun of you for not wearing the famous podle skirt - but now they've gotten dangerous. they beat people, burn them, stab them, mock them to the point where they wish themselves dead. I've seen one Law-and-Order episode where girls like this MURDERED someone.

AND IT WAS BASED ON ACTUAL EVENTS.

No one actually stood up for Nin in her story. some tried, but no one ever actually went up to the girl and said "STOP". It may have been enough to save her eye, but it didn't happen.

Please, I'M BEGGING YOU, don't just stand back and watch anymore. I'm not asking you to get into a fight. I'm not asking you to get in trouble or endanger your chances of a happy and promising future. All I ask is that you - all of you - have the courage to protect someone in need. If EVERYONE witnessing the event circled Princess andtold her to back off, beleive me, SHE WOUlD HAVE. ONe person can make a difference, but ALL OF YOU JOINED AS ONE CAN CHANGE A FATE.

THIRD OF ALL, it's more than girls. IT'S THE GUYS too. School violence and bullying has gotten completely out of hand. I'm sick of watching the news and hearing about a boy being bullied for his sexuality, or a girl burned with cigarettes because she's overweight, or WHATEVER.

IT HAS GOT TO FUCKING STOP.

there are lots of reasons it's this way now. some people just grew up in a dark and lonely place, and because fo that they've become as demons. some people yearn to be noticed and draw blood to do so.

some people just want to watch the world burn.

it could be that, as ideas conflict more and more,
gay rights
war
abortion
stem cell research
euthanasia

and so on and so forth, as those ideas and their people conflict more and more, we as children grow up in a generation where everyone is fighting each other. it could be that some of us were introduced to violence at an early age -
i'm NOT saying violent movies or game should be banned, but my little cousin is TRIGGER HAPPY. his uncles let him watch rated r movies and now all he plays with are toy guns. it's awful.

but the biggest reason is that WE ARE DOING NOTHING TO STOP IT. some of us are, but WE AS A WHOLE ARE NOT.

there are too many bystanders. there are too many witnesses. and there sure as hell are too many people cheering "fight fight fight" and taping the thing like it's a damn concert.

one voice is a powerful thing, but sad as it is, it is seldom heard if the problem is too big. the power of one is something humanity has yet to master, ut we are the future. every single one of us is a generation out of a wave of generatuions to come. WE CAN START THIS. we can join together to protect each other, look out for each other, and chnage someone's fate before it's too late.

please don't disregard this post. i want you to think about what i've said.

join together and be strong. don't let yourself be a witness any longer.

i do not blame twilight in this. i'm old enough to understand that, even though incidents like this have occured before (and they have, look at the forum), the book is not responsible for its insane rabid idiotic overly dramatic and just plain annoying fans (and this does NOT apply to every Twilighter, so please know that i am NOt calling you all this. only certain people and you DAMN WELL KNOW WHO YOU ARE.)

i've read the book, and it does not say ANYTHING about school violence or girls fighting each other.

i've seen what people have done to Harry Potter. let's not do that to Twilight, please?
